Corry Kendall was born and raised in Mangum, OK. He graduated from Mangum High School in 2003 and graduated cum laude from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2008 with a degree in political science.
Corry graduated cum laude from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2011. In law school, he served as staff editor for Law Review, interned at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Oklahoma and volunteered for the Jodi Marquette American Indian Wills Clinic. Corry was admitted to the Federal District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma in September 2011.
Active in Oklahoma
Following his law school graduation, Corry worked as a staff attorney with Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, serving all of Northwest Oklahoma. During his time with Legal Aid, Corry practiced family law, including paternity, custody, child support, guardianship and divorce.
He also focused on estate planning, including advance directives, power of attorneys, wills and immigration law. Additionally, he taught continuing education courses for the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission.
In addition to his diverse legal experience, Corry currently serves as the city attorney for the City of Mangum, Eldorado, Olustee, and Martha. He also represents the Mangum Regional Medical Center and the First National Bank of Mangum. His areas of practice include criminal law, family law, estate planning, municipal law, health law, real estate law and general civil law.
Corry is also a trustee for the Greer County Law Library, a volunteer with the Shortgrass Rattlesnake Association, a member of the Greer County Chamber of Commerce and conducts legal clinics for local high schools.
Corry is proud of his roots in Southwest Oklahoma and strives to serve his community with empathy and integrity.
